Power Africa selects Networked Energy Services as an Official Partner

San Jose, CA, October 25, 2021: Networked Energy Services Corporation (NES), a global smart grid solution provider with the industry’s leading Energy Applications Platform (EAP^TM), is excited to announce its selection as an official partner of Power Africa, which is a U.S. Government-led partnership, coordinated by USAID.

Power Africa chose to collaborate with NES because of its plans to further expand into Africa, with projects in the DRC, Ghana, South Africa, and elsewhere. NES looks forward to supporting Power Africa by developing and implementing smart grid and smart metering projects in the region, which will reduce losses, improve revenue, and assist with generating project funding for adding MWs and new connections.

This will enable NES to assist with generating project funding and support the objectives of Power Africa to add 30,000 megawatts (MW) of installed generation capacity and 60 million new home and business connections in sub-Saharan Africa.
