System Software
NES provides software that allows utilities to make the most of their smart grid investment. Solutions from our Patagonia Energy Applications Platform (EAPTM) allow utilities to:
• Operate their Smart Grid more efficiently
• Ensure that the information from the Smart Grid is presented into the organisation in a reliable and timely manner
• Identify opportunities for energy loss reductions and improved load balancing to reduce capital expenditure
• Support a more secure energy resource to their customers and safe-guard their customer’s information.
NES System Software, located at the head-end, supplies everything a utility needs to deploy, provision, configure, manage, audit, diagnose, and retrieve data from any OSGP-compatible device operating within the NES System.
NES Grid Operations is a Web-based user interface that can be used to manage and maintain a NES System deployment. Grid Operations is designed to manage large-scale NES installations, and has been proven to manage up to at least 5 million meters.
NES Grid Navigator and Grid Flow provide visibility of topologies, energy flows and load balancing deep within the low-voltage grid, exposing new information to help drive business insight.
NES Grid Watch provides threat-awareness and intrusion detection to the already highly secure perimeter provided by NES AMI solutions.
